Slash has been selected as a winner of the Asian Preparedness Partnership (APP) Social Innovation Grant Challenge, launched by the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC).
The initiative aimed to support innovations for disaster risk management challenges, primarily risk communications, early warning, and emergency response.
One of over 50 applicants from local actors in the APP member countries, Slash made the short list, and then featured among 9 contenders with full proposals at the pitch.
As a winner, Slash will receive grant funding and technical platform to further develop innovative solutions over the next six months. The funding includes support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
